WW1 changed America quite a lot. The war caused the economy to grow unlike the effect of that the Vietnam war had on the economy. Women started working in new, different jobs, and many African Americans traveled to big cities for work. The government made new laws, and more people joined the military. After the war, The US did not want to join any other countries fights. The war also influenced music, books, and art. Overall, World War I had a pretty huge effect on America and how people lived.
