The Vietnam War

The Vietnam war effected America in multiple ways. People no longer trusted the government. Multiple people protested against the war, which split up the country. The war damaged the economy immensely, which made life much harder for Americans. Soldiers were treated very very poorly when they returned from war. The war changed how the US deals with things, it made leaders much more careful about getting entangled in wars.
